We’ve had one of those perfect days where everything is just good, quiet and right. We spent it at M’s place, and it’s such a beautiful house I couldn’t help myself taking a few snapshots and sharing them with you.
M has the ability to make every room seem welcoming, effortless and bright. I’ve felt at home in her house since the first time I stepped into it, and if you add the goddamn excellent company and fantastic food that always comes with a visit there, you’re pretty much left with a small piece of heaven on earth.

I saw this beautiful necklace at Kiki De Montparnasse when I was in NYC, but as it was rather expensive I made the grown-up decision not to buy it, which I’m obviously regretting like hell now. Anyway, ever since I’ve been looking for nice metalwork, and was overexcited when I came across RFRM. The line is designed and crafted by Kim Knoll, every piece one of a kind, and I think they’re fabulous:

I’ve been coveting a pair of nice heeled loafers ever since I first laid eyes on these lovely things:

The problem is that I have no idea who made them or where to get them, which is why I have just spent hours fruitlessly searching the web trying to find a way to get my hands on them ..or a suitable substitute. This is what I have come up with:

I’m a little tired of people uncomfortably wearing gimmicky, unflattering headwear just to ‘stand out’ (like cupcake-hats that doesn’t really suit them), but Zara Carpenter’s fantastic creations are tempting even me! If I buy the Alice hat, will you promise to tell me if I look like a twat? Because I really, really, really want it.
